I needed to have this skirt the moment I saw it! Typically, I shy away from leather pieces that are not jackets, shoes, or bags because I find them to be very edgy, but the tan colored leather of this skirt helps to keep the outfit classic. The lighter color makes the piece more versatile than your average black (something I definitely look for when purchasing a more expensive piece) because you can wear it with brighter hues into the warmer months. Although this particular DVF skirt is no longer available (I purchased it last spring), I think a simple leather skirt is something every girl should consider saving for, as it will never go out of style.
